Auguste Rodin caricature
Another caricature from my pencil period. Once more just for fun and practice.
I was reading a book about his life and work and I was touched by his 'character head', which almost begged to be caricatured.
The sculptor - here in middle age. He looks quite calm, but he was very driven and intense.
'The Kiss' and 'The Thinker' are two of his most famous works. But also other works, such as 'The Gates of Hell' and 'The Citizens of Calais' are world famous.
